Kathy's experience with children is not limited to the professional work environment. She is the mother of two children who have attended Boerne I.S.D. schools. She has been active in the community and at the First Baptist Church-Boerne, where she has taught in the Children's Sunday School Department for the past ten years. She has also served as a Girl Scout Leader, a Cub Scout Leader, a Webelos Leader, and served on the Boy Scouts of America Troop 18 Committee for several years. She is currently active in the Boerne High School Band Boosters.
